1.防守端锋Ray McDonald涉嫌性侵。
警方接到一名成年女性报警说她可能在前一天遭受性侵，初步调查结果显示嫌疑人是McDonald，警方对他住宅进行了搜查，目前调查还在进行中，他还未被逮捕。据NBC Bay Area记者Damian Trujillo说受害人并不是他的未婚妻。此前McDOnald曾因涉嫌对未婚妻家暴被调查，最后未被起诉。
“Officers responded and made contact with the adult female victim,” SJPD reported in a statement “The victim alleged she was possibly sexually assaulted a day prior. The preliminary investigation revealed the alleged suspect was Ray McDonald.”
鉴于他一再出事，球队宣布裁掉McDonald。
"We just want to inform everybody that after the recent allegations concerning Ray McDonald, we as an organization have notified him and his agent that he will be terminated, released immediately. Effective immediately,"Baalke announced.
"While this organization has a strong belief in due process and has demonstrated that over time, Ray has demonstrated a pattern of poor decision-making that has led to multiple distractions for this organization and this football team that really can no longer be tolerated."

2.阵容调整：
(1)球队裁掉防守端锋Ray McDonald。
(2)由于跑锋Gore和Hyde的伤病，球队签下前牛仔跑锋Phillip Tanner，他将身穿48号球衣。

3.伤病和训练情况
(1) 右截锋Anthony Davis穿回了“禁止接触”球衣，其他穿“禁止接触”球衣的还有防守端锋Justin Smith、内线卫Michael Wilhoite和角卫Chris Culliver。
(2)据CSN Bay Area的记者Mindi Bach报道，脚踝受伤的跑锋Carlos Hyde说他的MRI检查结果良好，但出战闪电机会很小。
(3)脑震荡的跑锋Frank Gore说他感觉正常，他仍需通过联盟检查才能出战。
